Colour Meditation One: Meditation Exercise 13

Meditation exercise paintings are my way of extending my current and growing meditation practice as well as exercising my hand, body and mind to get better and more precise with each dot.
They are made to be spiritual protectors of home and space. To watch over you, guide you. To be witnessed, and in witnessing them and getting lost in the dots you are able to witness parts of yourself that may have been hidden. Meditating to bring self awareness, and know that you are truly loved and seen.

This painting took 4 days of dedication to come to full completion (dots only).

Ceramic centre pieces are fired 3 times (over 100 hours of firing time) and have a combination of beach sand and shell infused into the glaze.
